Former Nigeria captain, Austin Jay-Jay Okocha was spot on during the World Cup draw on Friday, April 1, 2022 at the Doha Exhibition Center.

The ex-Super Eagles star was shinning in his stylish suit as he assisted in the draw ahead of the FIFA World Cup later this year.

In photos posted on Twitter, Okocha was looking amazing and sharp as he walked onto the stage to conduct the draw with fellow legends of the game.

Okocha joined former World Cup winners Cafu and Lothar Matthaus as well as Raber Madjer and Ali Daei for the draw.

After the draw, 29 qualified teams found their opponents for the group stages while the remaining three spots will be failed in June via play-offs.

2022 World Cup draw held

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that the draw for the 2022 FIFA World Cup has been done and dusted and football fans can expect an action-packed tournament in Qatar.

In the pick of the groups, Germany and Spain were drawn together in Group E, a group that includes Japan and a yet to be decided team.

Three spots are yet to be filled in the tournament, as the last representative from Europe and two Inter-Confederation Playoffs need to be decided.

Jay Jay scores stunning goal in Dubai

Austin 'Jay Jay' Okocha does not end to amaze football lovers even at the age of 48 after his showboating display for World Stars in an exhibition game in Dubai.

The former Nigeria international featured for a World Stars team that had former AC Milan star Clarence Seedorf, Arsenal legend Robert Pires and former World best player Kaka.

However, it was his goal in the 13-3 victory over Abraham Accords stars that grabbed the attention of every fan watching the game.
