The last training session was supervised by head coach Augustine Eguavoen with support from assistant coach Emmanuel Amunike.

Nigeria will engage the Black Stars in the first leg on Friday March 25, before travelling to Abuja four days later for the second-leg.

The winner of the two-legged encounter will book one of Africa’s five slots for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar later this year.

Football Fans Divided Over Who Was Better Between Michael Essien and Mikel Obi

Meanwhile, Sports Brief earlier reported that Ghana will renew their rivalry against Nigeria on Friday in the World Cup play-off but there is an ongoing debate over who is the better player between former Black Stars midfielder Michael Essien and ex-Super Eagles captain Mikel Obi.

Twitter has been left divided with fans expressing their choice after the UEFA Champions League handle on the app posted the question about who was the favourite, a day to the big derby in Ghana.

Ghana's Michael Essien is currently leading the polls but many have argued Mikel Obi had a better career in terms of trophies.
