- Victor Moses has been under contract with Chelsea football club since 2012
- The former Nigerian international has ignored Jose Mourinho among best managers he worked with
- Moses chose Roberto Martinez, Rafael Benitez, Neil Warnock and Antonio Conte
Nigerian footballer Victor Moses who is still under contract with Premier League club Chelsea has snubbed Jose Mourinho in his list of best managers he worked with.
Moses who has been with the Blues since 2012 insisted that Antonio Conte is a better manager than the current Tottenham boss.
The 30-year-old who is currently on loan to Russian outfit Spartak Moscow had less playing time under Mourinho during the manager’s second spell at Stamford Bridge between 2013 and 2015.
Moses was shipped out on loan to Stoke City and Liverpool during that period and it appears he is yet to forgive the Portuguese.
Moses told Spartak’s official website via SunSport:
“[Antonio] Conte is on this list. Next Roberto Martinez, Rafael Benitez. Neil Warnock, with whom I made my debut at Crystal Palace. [Domenico] Tedesco. And also Mark Hughes.”
The former Nigerian international won the Premier League, FA Cup and the Europa League twice with Chelsea; he explains why he snubbed the Special One:
“Without a doubt, Jose is a cool pro, I respect his achievements. But there wasn't the necessary connection between the player and the coach.
“In the end, I tried in training, I wanted to play, but Mourinho had a different opinion.”
Meanwhile, former Super Eagles captain Mikel Obi has been named the richest Nigerian footballer at the moment with a net worth of about ₦23 billion
The 33-year-old who currently plays for English club Stoke City made most of his fortunes from football during his stint at Premier League club Chelsea.
Chelsea were granted a work permit for the midfielder after they completed the £16 million signing in June 2006 where he made 249 league appearances and getting a goal before he moved to Chinese club Tianjin TEDA in 2017.
Also on the list of richest Nigerian footballers currently is ₦14 billion worth Obafemi Martins who takes second position.
The 36-year-old currently plays for Chinese club Wuhan Zall as a striker and has so far scored one league goal since joining last year.

Although the purpose of the meeting is yet to be revealed, the 33-year-old former Premier League star was however spotted donning an adorable outfit.
The portrait of his wife was customised on the long attire while the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations highest goals scorer conversed with the traditional ruler in his palace.
