John Maduka has officially returned to Royal AM.

Rumours started flying around in recent months and weeks that the Malawian-born Maduka would do a sensational about-turn and head back to Durban.

He surprisingly departed the club after an excellent 2021/22 Premier Soccer League, landing at Maritzburg United, but this move did not work out.

She said on Instagram:

"There’s nothing more important than keeping your dressing room intact. You can lose everything in soccer but you must NEVER lose your change room."

MaMkhize told Maduka being the team's coach was 'where he was meant to be' and called it time for Royal AM to finish what was started.

"When I said it’s not how you fall that matters I meant it. It’s about how you pick yourself up that matters most. Welcome Home," she continued, adding in some hashtags including #MyWorldMyRules

Siphiwe Mkhonza blasts John Maduka

Football analyst and former Kaizer Chiefs player, Siphiwe Mkhonza rose and dialled up to 10 on the violence scale, Sports Brief has reported.

He laid into Maduka, who was clubless at the time. The coach was sacked by Maritzburg United, who he joined under dubious circumstances.

Speaking on SAFM with Thabiso Mosia, Mkhonza he said that he did not wish to undermine Maduka, before promptly doing just that.

Andile Mpisane shows off boots

As Andile Mpisane tries to force his way into coach, Khabo Zondo's plans, the Royal AM chairman can never be faulted for his sense of style.

Sports Brief also reported on his infamous cameo appearance off the bench for Thwihli Thwahla, as they defeated Kaizer Chiefs in the Macufe Cup.

Mpisane posted to Instagram recently about a fresh pair of football boots that were gifted to him by major sports apparel company, Puma.
