Former Bafana Bafana defender Mbulelo 'OJ' Mabizela accuses media of being biased against him

Mbulelo 'Oldjohn' Mabizela has a bone to pick with South Africa's football media.

As reported by Sports Brief, the former Bafana Bafana, Orlando Pirates and Tottenham Hotspur defender believes that some journalists within that sector were out to destroy him during what was a career that promised so much but did not deliver due to disciplinary issues. Mabizela, known for being outspoken, recently lashed out at players in the DStv Premiership.

He said that the quality of football was of such a low standard that he did not bother to switch on the television to watch.
