Jose Mourinho has revealed that underfire player Rick Karsdorp has already left Rome following his scathing accusations against the player.

Mourinho has been embroiled in a war with Karsdorp after he accused the player of sabotaging the team's efforts against Sassuolo last week.

Speaking after Roma's game against Torino, Mourinho explained that the Dutch international had already left. It remains unclear how exactly Karsdorp betrayed Mourinho, but he was partly at fault for the goal Roma conceded against Sassuolo.

"I decided not to call up Karsdorp today and he knows why. It’s my decision”.

Sports Brief had earlier reported that Jose Mourinho did not hold back in his criticism of one specific player during his post-match interview after Roma endured a frustrating 1-1 draw against Sassuolo on Wednesday, November 9.
