After the fiery Clasico, Real Madrid trio Dani Ceballos, Dani Carvajal and Nacho reported for Spain duty, as did Barcelona stars Gavi and Alejandro Balde.

And according to Spanish TV show El Chiringuito, players from each team trained in different groups amid potentially high tension.

According to Madrid Universal, the Real Madrid dressing room is pissed off at the unsportsmanlike behaviour of the Barcelona players during and after the El Clasico defeat.

Real Madrid were particularly annoyed with Barcelona midfielder Gavi who had clashed with Dani Carvajal and Dani Ceballos during the crunch game in Camp Nou.

As claimed by Spanish journalist Adrian Sanchez, some senior players of Real Madrid contacted their counterparts at Barcelona to complain about Gavi.

They feel that Barcelona's more experienced players should talk to the academy graduate about his behaviour.

Xavi reacts to El Clasico's victory

Meanwhile, Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandes says the Catalans do not feel like champions yet following a 2-1 win over Real Madrid on Sunday, Daily Post reports.

Barcelona moved 12 points clear of Real Madrid at the top of the La Liga standings thanks to Frank Kessie 92nd minute winner which sent fans inside the Camp Nou into wild celebrations.

With 12 games left to play for the remainder of the season, Xavi has remained cautious as he has revealed there is still more work to be done in order for Barcelona to be crowned champions.

Madrid stars angry with Gavi

The El Clasico has come and gone but the impact of the biggest game in Spanish football has left a sour taste in the mouth of Real Madrid players, Sports Brief earlier reported.

Los Blancos suffered a heartbreaking loss to eternal rivals Barcelona after Frank Kessie scored a dramatic goal in the 92nd minute to hand the Catalans all three points at Camp Nou.
