5. Ferran Torres (Barcelona)

Barcelona are looking strong in La Liga this campaign. The Catalan giants are placed first on the table, nine points ahead of defending champions, Real Madrid.

La Blaugrana have been cruising in domestic competitions after checking every box in every department. They have conceded just eight goals so far in 24 games, which is the best defensive record in the 21st century.

However, their attack is one of the best in the league, with Robert Lewandowski topping the scorers' charts with 15 goals.

Surprisingly, Barcelona forward, Torres is the fifth player with the most effective take-on, beating the likes of teammate, Ousmane Dembele and Real Madrid's Rodrygo de Goes, scoring 2.6 points per game according to FotMob.

4. Yan Couto (Girona)

The fourth-best dribbler in La Liga is Girona winger, Yan Couto. The on-loan Manchester City star has a bagful of skills under his belt that he has perfectly mastered.

The Brazilian youngster also possesses incredible playmaking skills, passing ability, and unprecedented creativity. Among these attributes, the 20-year-old's biggest weapon is his dribbling skills, which are mostly underappreciated.

FotMob reported Couto has recorded 2.6 successful dribbles per game this season in Spain's top division, with only three players ahead of him.

3. Adrián Embarba (Almeria)

The Madrid-born winger maintained a reputation for being one of the best dribblers, competing 2.9 successful dribbles per game.

Having made 32 appearances last season in the Spanish Primera Division, Embarba joined Almeria from Espanyol in the summer of 2022.

His dribbling abilities are the key reason why the club signed him for a fee reported to be around the region of €4 million. No wonder the number 10-shirted man is the highest-rated Almerica player on FIFA cards.

Due to his quick runs and body movements, opponents have difficulty stopping him. In addition, his dribbling runs enable him to generate more chances.

2. Samuel Chukwueze (Villarreal)

The Nigerian winger is a ruthless and lethal dribbler who breezes past multiple opponents for the fun of it. He is quick, slippery, and pacey. Moreover, his low center of gravity helps him keep the ball glued to his feet, making it hard to be dispossessed.

The Villarreal forward contributed to several chances that led to goals this season, completing 3.1 successful dribbles this season - making him one of the best dribbling players in La Liga.

1. Vinicius Junior (Real Madrid)

Of course, this list would not have been complete without the marksman.

Vinicius Junior has become a famous figure in La Liga and the world. Because of his constant dribble and trickery movement, the Brazilian has become Real Madrid's most influential man.

The 22-year-old understands how to hold on to the ball, which has resulted in him becoming the most fouled player in the Spanish league.

He is skilled at luring opponents to himself, terrorising opposing defences with speed, agility, and quick footwork. According to FotMob stats, Vinicius completes 3.2 dribbles per match.

CIES outlines best dribblers

The CIES Football Observatory has named Dembele the world’s best dribbler for 2023, Sports Brief previously reported.

According to the independent research organisation, the Barcelona forward is the player with the most effective take-on.

Dembele, who is currently sidelined due to injury, has made 18 appearances for Barcelona this season, scoring five goals.
