Real Madrid winger, Vinicius Junior aimed a thinly veiled dig at Atletico Madrid, following his side's triumph in the Copa del Rey on Thursday evening.
Vinicius was among the scorers, as Los Blancos clawed from a goal down to secure the bragging rights in the Madrid derby - and most importantly - a spot in the semi-finals of the Spanish cup.
The build-up to the 231st Madrid derby was marred by some fans of Atletico Madrid, who did the shameful act of displaying an effigy of Vinicius hung from a bridge near Real Madrid's training ground, CNN reports.
The disgraceful act, with a racist undertone, drew widespread criticism and La Liga condemned the Rojiblancos fans for their below-the-belt conduct.

The Brazilian gave a befitting response to the uncouth behaviour of Atleti fans of his own, scoring a last-minute goal in the Spanish capital city derby.
After the game, the 22-year-old aimed a jab at their cross-city rivals with a cryptic message on social media, per GOAL.
Vini Jr wrote: "Madrid hay uno solo. Todos sabem," which translates as 'There's only one Madrid. We all know.'
Vinicius receives hateful message
Sports Brief had earlier reported on fans of Atleti taking a revolting dig at Real Madrid winger, Vinicius Junior ahead of the Madrid derby on January 26.
The Rojiblancos were set to cross swords with Los Blancos at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, in the Copa Del Rey quarter-final clash.
Ahead of the cagey encounter, Atletico fans appeared to hang a mannequin wearing the shirt of Vinicius Jr from a bridge in the capital.
