  • PSG star Neymar has been offered to Real Madrid by his father in a shock transfer proposal
  • The Brazilian has faced criticism from fans and the French media amid his poor run of form
  • However, the 30-year-old has 15 goals and 13 assists in 23 games for PSG this season alone

Real Madrid has been gifted the deal of a lifetime, after the La Liga giants were offered the opportunity to sign Paris Saint-Germain forward, Neymar Junior.

Neymar still holds the record as one of the most expensive transfers in football history, after he joined PSG from Barcelona for a whopping €222-million in 2017.

According to Sportskeeda, Neymar’s fairy tale journey to France seem set to come to an end, as the Brazilian forward’s father has now extended his son's services to Real Madrid.

PSG is reportedly fed up with the Brazilian’s behaviour since joining the Ligue 1 champions and is considering offloading the 30-year-old.

Neymar’s contract at the Parc des Princes expires in 2025 and the Brazil superstar has made 167 appearances at the French capital, scoring 115 goals and contributing with 73 assists.

Neymar's nightmare from penalty spot

Meanwhile, Neymar had a penalty to forget against Riyadh's All-Star XI, as Mohammed Alowais comfortably saved the Brazilian forward’s limp spot kick, Talk Sport reports.

The 30-year-old’s miserable form in front of goal continued for PSG, as he has now failed to score in his last three games for the French champions since returning from the 2022 World Cup.

Kylian Mbappe would show Neymar how it’s done from the spot, as the French forward converted the Ligue 1 giant's second penalty of the night in an enthralling friendly game in Saudi Arabia.

Messi rejects Neymar’s penalty offer

Earlier, Sports Brief reported on Lionel Messi squaring up with his greatest rival, Cristiano Ronaldo, when the two met in an exhibition match in Saudi Arabia.

Fresh from winning the World Cup last month, the Argentine took under three minutes to open the scoring. The Portuguese then got a brace of his own in what was dubbed their last meeting.

At one point, PSG's struggling Brazilian forward appeared to ask the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner to have a go from the spot. Messi shook his head and Neymar lined up the kick.
