Karim Benzema is back on the road to recovery.
The French striker has been plagued by injuries of late and missed all of France's World Cup games so far.
However, the player was spotted training with the rest of his teammates, as a handful of Los Blancos stars returned for a light training session.
Managing Madrid reported that only Benzema, Toni Kroos, David Alaba, Dani Ceballos, Ferland Mendy, Andriy Lunin, Jesus Vallejo, Nacho Fernandez, Lucas Vazquez, Alvaro Odriozola were present at the training sessions over the weekend.

The players who represented their countries at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar will be given more time to rest. The club took to social media to share some snaps of Benzema and his teammates getting back into action.

The La Liga champions will be hoping to have Benzema back for their return to action in January. Los Blancos trail Barcelona on the table and have a busy first month of the new year. Madrid will play games against Villarreal, Valencia, Athletic Bilbao and Real Sociedad.
Benzema misses World Cup While Benzema is working on getting back to full fitness in Spain, he would have hoped to be in Qatar with the rest of the French side.
As noted by The Sporting News, Benzema was ruled out of competing for the national team before the tournament began. Benzema was reported to have injured his left quadriceps during training for the tournament in Qatar.

There’s light at the end of the tunnel when it comes to Karim Benzema’s dreams of earning a World Cup medal, Sports Brief reported.
The Real Madrid striker was a part of the French squad selected for the tournament in Qatar but was ruled out of playing due to a thigh injury.
Benzema suffered the thigh injury while preparing for Les Bleus’ tournament opener against Australia and requires a three-week recovery period.

Sports Brief earlier reported on Benzema exiting the World Cup after sustaining a thigh injury during national team training.
Since October, the emblematic player has struggled with a thigh problem and has played less than half an hour of football in his club's last six games.
The Real Madrid forward was voted the best player this year at the Ballon d'Or awards last month, and the 34-year-old will be sorely missed by the world champions.
