The club are reportedly looking to force Ronaldo out of the club following what they call a breach of contract for the comments he made during the interview, The Guardian reported.

New reports indicated that Ronaldo could be offered to Real Madrid as a replacement for Karim Benzema. Benzema has missed Madrid’s last La Liga fixtures and has also been ruled out of France’s World Cup squad.

Ronaldo and Real go together

The Manchester United attacker enjoyed great success when he was a Madridista. He played 438 games for Los Blancos and scored 450 goals. He also notched up 131 assists during his time with the Spanish side.

Backseat to Benzema

Some in Madrid are unsure about bringing Ronaldo back to the club. The player will have to take a backseat to Benzema once the French striker returns from injury. Ronaldo may not be keen to play second fiddle to the Ballon d'Or winner.
