A supercomputer has made a prediction for the final Spanish Primera division standings, after Real Madrid suffered their first loss in Spain's top flight.

Los Blancos suffered a 3-2 defeat to Rayo Vallecano in La Liga on Monday night, to leave arch-nemesis Barcelona two points clear at the top.

The loss brings to an end to the perfect start to the season for Carlo Ancelotti's side, and crucially means they stay second on the table.

According to FiveThirtyEight's supercomputer, noted by Ghanaballers, Real Madrid will surrender the this season's La Liga title to Barcelona this season.

Per the mystic powers, the Blaugrana are tipped to win the league by as much as 63% in probability, and are expected to amass 88 points by the end of the 2022/23 season.

The algorithm computed that Real Madrid will come second with a probability of 34%. The defending Spanish champions are expected to finish the season with 83 points.
