Benzema clinched the 66th edition of the most coveted football prize on Monday, October 17 at the Theatre du Chatelet, Paris.

The 34-year-old, who enjoyed a remarkable year under review with Real Madrid, became the first Frenchman to annex the award since Zinedine Zidane.
