Sadly for Spanish football, the other La Liga teams are not enjoying the same level of success in Europe’s biggest club competition.

Sevilla, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid all suffered defeats this week, continuing their poor starts to the new season in Europe. Atletico went down to Club Brugge on Tuesday, while Barcelona were defeated 1-0 by Inter Milan.

Sevilla then suffered a 4-1 defeat at the hands of Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday. The club even sacked their manager, Julen Lopetegui after the game, The Guardian reported.

Atletico find themselves bottom of their group, while Sevilla and Barcelona are in third spots in their respective groups.

Football fans were quick to take to social media, commenting on the poor performances and how it fell upon Real to carry the flag high for Spanish football.

@_yawwjunior:

"As it stands now, Barcelona are going to play Europa League and both Sevilla and Atletico are sitting at the bottom of their groups now it’s Real Madrid that’s going to carry the reputation of the La Liga in the champions league this season."

@Riyel_19:

"Barcelona, Atletico & Sevilla are failing in the UCL. It's always @realmadrid‘s responsibility to save the image of #LaLiga."

@ButtyGhetto_:

"Sevilla, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid bring shame to Laliga ...and there's Real Madrid, the Redeemer ."

Vinicius Junior brings the Bernabeu crowd to their feet with insane skill against Shakhtar Donestk

Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior has demonstrated he is one of the best in world football when it comes to the sweet art of dribbling, Sports Brief reported.

The 22-year-old is absolutely electrifying with the ball at his feet, making it difficult for many defenders to stop him when he's in full force in recent times.

The Brazil international has also added goals and assists to his game since Carlo Ancelotti took to the helm last season, but his biggest weapons are still his skill moves and dribbles.
