BBC reported that the Celtic manager has vowed that his side will play on the front foot and won’t shy away from the challenge.

"There's no point playing football a certain way and then, when you get the opportunity to measure it against the best, you shy away from it," he said.

Carlo Ancelotti:

The Real Madrid manager is looking forward to the challenge, especially given his poor track record at Celtic Park. The Italian has never won at the Scottish stadium in three visits to the ground with his AC Milan side, The Celtic Bhoys reported.

“This has been a really difficult stadium for me and my teams in the past, but it is a fantastic atmosphere. I love that my teams can play in this atmosphere,” he said.

Injury News:

Celtic:

Kyogo Furuhashi was a doubt with a shoulder injury but has since returned to training. He may not start the game but will be fit enough for the bench. Carl Starfelt picked up a knee problem and is ruled out of the match. Yosuke Ideguchi is also out of action with a leg injury.

Real Madrid:

Jesus Vallejo and Alvaro Odriozola are the only two injury concerns for the Spanish side. The duo missed out on the game against Real Betis through injury and are guaranteed to miss out again.

Form coming into the game:

Celtic are unbeaten in their last seven games this season, while Madrid are unbeaten in five.

Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou issues warning to Real Madrid ahead of UEFA Champions League fixture

Many sides would be scared to take on defending UEFA Champions Leagues title holders, Real Madrid.

Los Blancos have won the Champions League, La Liga, and UEFA Super Cup and are unbeaten in the Spanish leagues thus far.

One side who are looking forward to the prospect of facing the champions, though, is Celtic. The Scottish side are also unbeaten this season.
