Team News

Real Madrid

With Nacho, Alvaro Odriozola, and Jesus Vallejo all recuperating from their individual injuries, Carlo Ancelotti has received good news regarding the team ahead of Real Betis' visit. The Real Madrid manager will have a completely healthy squad at his disposal.

Dani Carvajal and Ferland Mendy are expected to come back into the starting side, while Rodrygo is also pushing for a spot on the right of the front three.

Toni Kroos and Luka Modric should once again be partnered in central midfield by Aurelien Tchouameni, although Antonio Rudiger and Lucas Vazquez are expected to be dropped from the defensive unit.

Karim Benzema will spearhead the Real Madrid attack, with Vinicius Jr. lining up on the left wing while Rodrygo Goes is pushing for inclusion in the starting eleven.

Real Betis

Real Betis manager, Manuel Pellegrini will be without four first-team players ahead of this weekend’s trip to the Santiago Bernabeu.

William Carvalho has failed to recover from a knock he picked last weekend while Martin Montoya and Víctor Camarasa are still on the sidelines with German Pezzella unavailable due to suspension.

The Hard Tackle reports Aitor Ruibal has recovered sufficiently from a knock and should start as the defence for Real Betis with Alex Moreno,

Player to Watch

Aurelien Tchouameni

Since moving to Real Madrid from AS Monaco this past summer, Aurelien Tchouameni has excelled. He appears to have the strength to step into Casemiro's shoes at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Tchouameni is expected to be paired in midfield alongside Luka Modric and Toni Kroos as the French young midfielder continues his growth under the tutelage of the veteran midfielders.

The matchup with Real Betis, who will give Tchouameni his first significant test as a Real Madrid player, will be another sign of his future. Watching how he performs on Saturday will be interesting.
