Luka Modric was in the best of forms on Saturday evening in Real Madrid's 4-1 win away to Celta Vigo on Matchday 2 of the Spanish Primera Division.

How Real Madrid defeated Celta Vigo

French striker Karim Benzema opened the scoring for Carlo Ancelotti's men early in the game through the spot-kick but Iago Aspas converted a penalty to cancel the lead.

Vinicius Junior and Federico Valverde added further goals in the second half while Eden Hazard had a late penalty saved as Madrid built on their La Liga season-opening 2-1 win at Almeria and joined Real Betis and Osasuna on six points at the top of the fledgling standings.

The Three Main Reasons Why Casemiro Wants to Join Manchester United

There are three factors pushing Casemiro to seriously think about moving to Manchester, Sports Brief earlier reported.

The first reason is that Casemiro feels his time at Real Madrid is over after winning 15 major trophies, including 5 Champions League titles.

Secondly, 30-year-old Casemiro wants to experience a new environment. This is the main reason that persuaded Raphael Varane to make the switch to England last summer.
