Bravo, a 17-year-old striker, was a former Barcelona player who broke into the club’s under-16 setup in 2020. He left Spain for Germany a year later, where he joined Bayer Leverkusen, Barca Universal reported.

Bravo, a Spanish national, made 17 appearances for Leverkusen's u/19 side last season and scored four goals and provided three assists

He impressed during his time in Germany and soon shot up the ranks at Leverkusen, performing well at both the under-17 and under-19 levels.

He was then handed a debut for the senior side in November last year. Bravo’s performances then caught the eye of Atletico Madrid, who first attempted to sign the layer. Real Madrid then came sniffing and reportedly sealed the deal to sign the youngster.

Football journalist Gerard Romero confirmed the news via Twitter earlier today.

Bravo is likely going to play for Real Madrid’s reserve side, Castilla, upon arriving at the club. The side is coached by club legend Raul Gonzalez.

Real Madrid aren't looking to bring in more players this transfer window but are considering buying promising players for the future.

Los Blancos have thus far signed Aurélien Tchouaméni and Antonio Rudiger in what has been a relatively quiet transfer window.

Now the La Liga champions have been linked with a move for 17-year-old Iker Bravo, Madrid Universal reported. Bravo, who currently plays for Bayer Leverkusen, is considered a diamond in the rough.
