Now the La Liga champions have been linked with a move for 17-year-old Iker Bravo, Madrid Universal reported. Bravo, who currently plays for Bayer Leverkusen, is considered a diamond in the rough.

Madrid could run into problems with trying to sign the player, as he has already agreed on personal teams with another La Liga side, Atletico Madrid.

Los Blancos would therefore need to hijack the deal for the player.

Bravo, a Spanish national, made 17 appearances for Leverkusen's u/19 side last season and scored four goals and provided three assists, TransferMarkt reported.

Prior to his move to Germany, he played for Barcelona at the youth level.

Real Madrid target a new striker who can guarantee 10-12 goals

Spanish giants Real Madrid are set to enter the transfer market for reinforcements ahead of the start of the 2022/23 season.

The Los Blancos are currently preparing at their base in the United States of America as they look to defend their UEFA Champions League and La Liga titles.

Carlo Ancelotti and his men lost 1-0 to arch-rivals Barcelona in their first pre-season game on Sunday without their talisman Karim Benzema.

Carlo Ancelotti Confirms He Will Try Eden Hazard in New Position Next Season

Meanwhile, Ancelotti has confirmed that he will deploy Eden Hazard in a new position next season.

Hazard, 31, is yet to live up to the name he built for himself during a stellar seven-year stay in England.

He has only featured 66 times for the Los Blancos and scored six goals. Ancelotti's plan involves playing Hazard as a false 9 when the main striker Karim Benzema is rested.
