The "most trusted" transfer-related pundits in the sport reckon Modric's assist is akin to a painting by a talented artist.

Romano made this assertion on the back of Real Madrid's quarterfinal clash against Champions League holders Chelsea at the Santiago Bernabeu.

With ten minutes left on the clock and Chelsea looking more likely to get a goal, Modric rolled back the hands of time to conjure an outrageous assist for Rodrygo.

Substitute Marcelo teed off Modric, who used the outside of his right boot to hit an almost 30-yard pass onto the feet of Rodrygo, who guided the ball into the net.

His jaw-dropping pass caught the Chelsea defence ball watching.
