As a result, Messi brought up his 100th international goal and recorded his 57th hat-trick.

Messi has now also scored 21 goals, recorded seven assists and won 11 Man of the Match awards in his last 13 games. During that time, Messi also led his home nation to World Cup glory.

Lionel Messi has reached a new milestone with the Argentinian team, as he notched up his 100th international goal.

Messi brought up the feat as he scored a hat-trick in a friendly match against Curacao.

The 35-year-old took just 37 minutes to score his three goals as Argentina went on to win the game 7-0, Sports Brief reported.
