Multiple Major League Soccer clubs are willing to go the extra mile to convince Lionel Messi to join Inter Miami, when his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires in the summer.
Inter Miami are among the serious contenders for the signature of the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner, who has not yet agreed to extend his current deal with Paris Saint-Germain.
According to Caught Offside, 29 MLS clubs are willing to fund Messi’s wages if he decides to make the move to USA and abandon the ambition of still playing in Europe.
The clubs believe having the Argentine will help the American league commercially, with the boost expected to help the USA in the lead-up to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Barcelona, Al-Ittihad, and Al-Hilal and most recently Inter Milan are the teams also credited with an interest for Messi should he decide to leave PSG at the end of the season.

Meanwhile, PSG claim they are the only club to have put a contract offer on the table for Messi, debunking suggestions the 35-year-old has multiple offers from around Europe, Goal reports.
