  • PSG manager Christophe Galtier is fuming after another poor result from his club
  • Neymar, Messi and Mbappe all underperformed as the club missed another win
  • PSG were held to a 1-1 draw at the Parc des Princes by Reims in the French Ligue 1

Paris Saint-Germain manager, Christophe Galtier is not pleased with his attacking trio and has taken a jab at them following the club’s latest setback in their title chase.

PSG were held to a 1-1 draw at the Parc des Princes by 11th-placed Reims, with Neymar, Kylian Mbappe, and Lionel Messi all putting a below-par display for the French champions.

According to Sportskeeda, Galtier has now taken a swipe at his attacking trio, who have all underperformed since the resumption of football after the World Cup.

“I know that the club is working to try to recruit one or two players. Obviously, we have to strengthen. We had a start; we would have to take an attacking player different from what we currently have.”

PSG are just three points off second-placed Lens on the Ligue 1 table, as the reigning champions have gathered 48 points from 20 matches played so far.

Fans take swipe at PSG

Meanwhile, football fans around the world are making their grievances known to PSG, after the club's latest setback in their Ligue 1 title defence.

Fans took to social media to aim dig at some stars including Messi after the reigning champions were held to a 1-1 draw by Reims.

Another fan suggested Messi should be dropped to the bench.

Did Ronaldo jinx Messi's performance?

Earlier, Sports Brief reported on fans accusing Cristiano Ronaldo of cursing Messi, following the friendly match between the Riyadh XI and PSG earlier this month.

The encounter, touted as possibly the last time the two veterans would share the same field, was eventually won by PSG but it was the Portuguese star who toppled the Argentina captain with his individual performance.

Since then, as eagle-eyed football fans were quick to notice, the 2022 World Cup winner has suffered from a dip in form.
