Lionel Messi has been spotted on a skiing vacation with his family, amid the uncertainty surrounding his future at Paris Saint-Germain.

The world champion treated himself to a day of winter vacation with his family after he was afforded yet another break by PSG.

Together with his wife, Antonella Roccuzzo and their children, Thiago, Mateo and Ciro, the Argentine genius travelled to Crans-Montana in Valais, Switzerland to spend a day in the ski area, Switzerland Times.

In photos shared on Instagram, seen by Sports Brief, the Messi family were spotted at the snow-covered mountain resort.

The veteran was excluded from PSG's recent French Cup assignment, which ended in a landslide victory against sixth-tier club Pays de Cassel, per GFFN.

Nonetheless, he is set to make a return to club duties when the Parisians host Stade Reims on Sunday.
