Playing against Paris Saint-Germain was a dream come true for Alexis Zmijak.
The 34-year-old electrician is a die-hard PSG fan, but also a defender for sixth-tier French side, Pays de Cassel.
When his team were drawn against the Ligue 1 giants in the French Cup, Zmijak knew that he would have to go up against some of the players he supports, and possibly have to tackle them as well.
While Pays de Cassel were beaten 7-0 by the Ligue 1 champions, the defender still had reason to smile as he received Kylian Mbappe’s jersey.

The PSG attacker scored a first-half hat-trick and gave Zmijak his jersey during the half-time break.
It was a truly special moment for the defender, who earlier spoke about his hesitancy to tackle Mbappe in case he injured him.
Speaking after the game, Zmijak also opened up on how much it meant for his side to compete against the likes of PSG, Get Football News France reported.
“We will remember the wonderful memories, the PSG players, this stadium. It is special to play against the players we usually support. We tried not to look at them too much.”
While Zmijak won’t get to compete against his heroes for at least another year, he can go back to supporting them from the stands.
The 34-year-old is a member of the Collectif Ultras Paris (CUP), the only Ultras association officially recognised by PSG.
PSG fan to face Mbappe
Alexis Zmijak is stuck between a rock and a hard place, Sports Brief has reported.
The Pays de Cassel defender is a PSG Ultra, but will have to face the French giants in the next round of the French Cup.
As a PSG Ultra who now has to play against the team he supports, Zmijak isn't sure how to deal with Mbappe.
