Nigerian Music Sensation Rema and PSG Star Hakimi Link Up in Saudi

Morocco international Achraf Hakimi has been spotted chilling alongside Nigerian music sensation Rema while appearing at the 2023 Joy Awards in Saudi Arabia.

The Paris Saint-Germain star joined directors, athletes social media influencers, and international artists to celebrate the Joy Awards.

According to a video spotted on Instagram, Hakimi was seen having friendly discussion with Rema while walking into the award night hall.

Interestingly, the Nigerian star was also in joyous mood to be walking together with Hakimi as they both talked and had fun.

At the ceremony, Cristiano Ronaldo's partner, Georgina Rodriguez, also attended.

Recall that Ronaldo recently moved to the Saudi Arabian League where he is currently on the books of Al-Nassr and and has also made his debut.

Hakimi named best Arab sportsman

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Morocco and Paris Saint Germain defender Achraf Hakimi was named the best Arab Sportsman of the Year at the Joy Sports Awards in Riyadh.

Hakimi beat Mohammed Al Owais, Salem Al Dosari and Yazid Al Rajhi for the top award.

The PSG defender walked onto the podium with his proud mother to receive the award during the ceremony in Saudi Arabia on Saturday.

Hakimi expressed excitement, thanking his mother for her support while dedicating the moment to his Morocco and PSG teammates.

Hakimi overwhelmed By Saudi experience

Sports Brief also reported how Morocco and Paris Saint-Germain star, Achraf Hakimi described Saudi Arabia as amazing after featuring in the game against Riyadh XI.

The French champions travelled to the Middle Eastern country for a friendly tie with the nation's best eleven, in a game that saw Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi square up for one last time.

Hakimi started and lasted an hour, as PSG defeated Riyadh XI in a nine-goal thriller at the King Fahd International Stadium.

In a highly entertaining game, World Cup winner Messi broke the deadlock after three minutes but long-time rival, Ronaldo levelled from the spot for the Saudi Arabian select side.

Marquinhos restored the French side's lead, before the Portuguese veteran responded again just before half-time with a fine header.
