Pictures have finally emerged of how Ethan who is the younger brother of Kylian Mbappe was moved from wild celebrations to sadness by Lionel Messi at the 2022 World Cup.

The year 2022 would for long be a memorable one for Messi, his family and Argentines as the former Barcelona captain eventually won the World Cup in Qatar beating France in the final.

But winning the World Cup in Qatar did not come easy for Argentina considering how they lost their first game against Saudi Arabia and the competition France also gave them in the final.

In fact, Messi and his teammates would have themselves to be blamed for allowing France to come back from two goals down forcing the match into extra time and then penalties.

What happened to Ethan?

Messi netted the first goal for Argentina in the 23rd minute via a penalty before Angel Di Maria made it 2-0 in the 36th minute.

Things were looking good for Argentina before Kylian stunned them with a brace in the 80th and 81st minute and forced the game into extra time.

Messi grabbed his second goal of the match in the 108th minute.

Moment of joy for Ethan

With two minutes to the end of the extra time, Mbappe restored parity for France and his younger brother was spotted celebrating in the stands.

The celebration of the youngster eventually ended minutes later as Argentina won 4-2 on penalties.

Messi’s PSG homecoming

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Argentina captain Lionel Messi resumed training with his club Paris Saint-Germain after arriving in France on Tuesday, 3 January.

The 35-year-old's return to Parc des Princes was marked by the celebration of his achievement of becoming world champion with La Albiceleste.

The Argentine genius was given a rapturous welcome from his teammates and support staff after leading his country to World Cup glory in Qatar last month.

PSG players, including Brazil star Neymar, and staff formed the classic guard of honour with applause Messi gallantly walked between them.
