Morocco’s Regragui speaks

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Morocco boss Walid Regragui revealed who he is backing to win the 2022 World Cup, following his side's elimination from the tournament.

The Atlas Lions have enjoyed a dream campaign in Qatar, becoming the first African team to reach the semi-finals.

Regragui's charges made it to the semis after they seeing off some of the top teams in the world, including Spain and Portugal.

However, their dream was cut short by France who they faced in the semis, with the cup holders condemning them to a 2-0 defeat to set up a crunch clash against Argentina in the final.

Reacting to his side's elimination from the World Cup, Regragui expressed his pride after leading Morocco to a fantastic run in the tournament.
