Lionel Messi’s left foot is more expensive than some teams as it has been revealed that the Argentina captain has the most expensive insurance in football.

The 7-time Ballon d’Or winner top the likes of Manchester United forward, Cristiano Ronaldo and former Real Madrid midfielder David Beckham on the list of the most expensive insured players list.

Messi’s left foot has been insured with a whopping sum of $900 million which is more than Cristiano Ronaldo’s both legs insured for $99 million and Beckham’s face and legs worth $175 million Total Sport reports.

Also on the list of top footballers with high insurance policies include former Real Madrid winger, Gareth Bale whose legs was also insured for $99 million.

Messi will again lead Argentina to the 2022 FIFA World Cup as the PSG forward makes one last push to win football’s most coveted trophy which has eluded him all through his career.

Lionel Messi’s goals breakdown

As of 2021, Lionel Messi has bagged 627 of his 748 goals with his stronger left foot while 92 of Messi's career goals have been a product of his right foot, Opera News reports.

Messi has only managed 26 goals so far with his head as the Argentine's aerial threat is not as effective as that of his left or right foot.

The Argentina captain has so far scored a total of 7 Ligue 1 goals for PSG while also finding the net 4 times in the Champions League.
