  • Paris Saint-Germain failed to record back-to-back wins across all competitions when they were held by a resolute Reims on Saturday, October 8
  • Despite PSG's inability to breakdown the water-tight defence of Reims, it was Neymar who stole the show with his second-half cameo
  • Neymar, who missed a golden opportunity to hand PSG all three points, wriggled past two defenders with an exceptional piece of skill

Neymar Junior proved why he is touted as one of the best dribbles in recent history with a jaw-dropping skill during Paris Saint-Germain's Ligue 1 game with Reims.

The Brazilian, who was a second-half substitute, left an indelible impression on the game in an otherwise underwhelming display from the French champions.

In a video posted on Twitter, sighted by Sports Brief, the 30-year-old forward pulled one of his plethora of tricks to outwit two of his markers before being hacked down.

How did Neymar outwit his opponents with his sumptuous piece of skill?

He initially nutmegged his first marker with ease as he skipped past him with ease with a second touch and just as he did to his previous opponent, Neymar repeated the same trick against the onrushing defender.

However, the second marker had to body-check the 30-year-old Brazil international to prevent the former Barcelona man from wreaking further havoc.

Despite Neymar's sublime skill, PSG failed to break down a resolute Reim defence, who held on to secure a point against the Parisians, who clearly missed the services of Lionel Messi.

The draw does not affect PSG's position on the league log as the defending French champions lead fierce rivals, Olympique Marseille with three points after ten games played, as noted by Euro Sport.

What is next for Paris Saint-Germain?

PSG will hope to shrug off their recent dismal run of performance when they play host to Benfica on Tuesday, October 11 before crossing swords with Marseille in the biggest game on the French football calendar.

Leo Messi provides Neymar with an unconventional ankle pass while lying down

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that a video of Lionel Messi making an incredible ankle pass to Neymar during Paris Saint-Germain's clash with Nice on Saturday has dropped.

Messi has been in perfect shape for PSG this season, putting in impressive performances week in and week out.

The Argentine ace has already scored six times for PSG this season, with five of those goals coming in the French top flight.
