Lionel Messi boasts of the second-best goal tally in the UEFA Champions League, after netting his 127th goal in 159 appearances with his wonder strike against Benfica on Wednesday.

The Paris Saint-Germain forward became the first player to score against 40 different teams in Europe’s elite club competition despite only facing 44 teams.

Four teams however, including La Liga giants Atletico Madrid and Serie A heavyweights Inter Milan, have been able to keep a clean sheet against Messi in the Champions League, Sportskeeda reports.

Russian outfit, Rubin Kazan and Italian club, Udinese complete the line-up of clubs the 7-time Ballon d’Or winner has failed to score against in the competition.

Lionel Messi has played a total of 13 games against these four teams with the Argentine facing Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan on 4 occasions, Rubin Kazan twice, and Udinese just once.
