Juventus appear to have found Paulo Dybala’s replacement immediately. Paris Saint Germain attacker Angel Di Maria has agreed on a one-year deal to join the Italian giants.

Di Maria’s contract at PSG comes to an end this summer. PSG have decided against extending the contract of the 34-year-old and he will now leave the club after their final game of the season against Metz.

The Argentine winger is a decorated footballer who has spent time at European top clubs. He has been a regular at Real Madrid before a short failed stint at Manchester United.

Get Football New France reports that Di Maria has played 294 games for PSG and has managed 92 goals and 118 assists. He has won five Ligue 1 titles during his stay in Paris.

He is now set to join Juventus who are looking to replace Paulo Dybala. Dybala has confirmed that he will be parting ways with the club at the end of the season.

Juventus have given DI Maria a one-year deal with an option to extend it for another year. Football Espana understands that he was keen on remaining in Europe as he seeks to make it to the Argentina squad that will participate in this year’s World Cup in Qatar.

My idea is to stay in Europe for another year so I can go to the World Cup in the best possible shape if I am called up.

The Binaconeri are understood to be offering a salary of seven million euros per year for the Argentine. The Old Lady have in the past brought in players on free transfers and have proved to be masterstrokes. Andrea Pirlo, Dani Alves and Sami Khedira are some examples.

Idrissa refuses to play in PSG's last game

Meanwhile, at Di Maria’s current club PSG, midfielder Idrissa Gana Gueye refused to play in their league game against Montpellier.

Sports Brief reported that Gueye refused to wear a jersey with rainbow colours as PSG aimed to support the LGBT!+ community.

In Gueye's absence, Paris Saint-Germain thrashed Montpellier 4-0 with Messi grabbing a brace while Di Maria and Ligue 1 Player of the Season, Mbappe scoring once.
