French giants Paris Saint-Germain have inked a lucrative three-year sponsorship agreement with sneaker marketplace GOAT.

The deal with the current Ligue 1 leaders is reportedly valued at more than $50million over three years.

The 2019/20 UEFA Champions League finalists took to their official Twitter account to announce the deal with the Goat Group Inc.

As part of the deal, Mauricio Pochettino's side will benefit from profits they make from the sale of team accessories including PSG colours and logo.

Beginning July 2022, the next generation lifestyle platform will be partners of one of the world's most stylish club.

In a video posted by the French club on social media, Lionel Messi, regarded by many as the greatest player of all time, modelled in the new design alongside, Neymar, Marco Verratti, Georgino Wijnaldum and Achraf Hakimi.

Paris Saint-Germain Chief Partnerships Officer, Marc Armstrong, was excited to disclose the mouth-watery agreement to their fans.

“We are delighted to welcome GOAT into the Paris Saint-Germain family with this partnership that will see them join the exclusive roster of club partners present on our iconic jerseys.”
“GOAT is a perfect fit for the club and further supports our position as a leading global sports and lifestyle icon for fans all over the world. Together we will develop exciting and creative experiences to connect with supporters everywhere.”

The GOAT brand will be displayed on all of the club’s 2022/23 jersey – which means that Lionel Messi will also be carrying it.

In football and sport in general, GOAT is a term used as an acronym for the “Greatest of All Time”. What a coincidence.

Neymar Tops Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe As Highest Ligue 1 Earner

Sports Brief earlier reported that Brazilian superstar Neymar has been named the highest-paid footballer at Paris-Saint Germain, French newspaper L'Equipe has announced.

The 30-year-old joined the Parc de Princess side on an astronomical £198m from Barcelona in 2017, becoming the most expensive footballer in the World.

He still remains French Ligue 1's top earner, earning a monthly salary of £3.4million before tax. This equates to a yearly gross salary of just under £41m per year.
