Brazilian superstar Neymar is reportedly prepared to dump French club Paris Saint-Germain after five years after he was blasted by the club supporters.

Neymar and Lionel Messi were subjected to ridicules on the back of their exit from the UEFA Champions League last week.

This is the fifth time the Brazilian has failed to inspire the French team to European glory after he smashed the transfer records in signing from Barcelona.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino also expressed concerns after club fans booed Lionel Messi and Neymar during their 3-0 win over Bordeaux on Sunday.

The Parisians defeated their visitors to go 15 points clear on the Ligue 1 standings, but former Barcelona stars Messi and Neymar were subjected to abuse before the start of the encounter.

And now, Spanish outlet Marca reports via Daily Star that the insults targeted at Neymar could see the Brazilian leave the club.

The report adds that an issue could be his mammoth salary as there are a few teams in the world that could pay him what he currently earns going forward.

Also, former Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos could also leave the club halfway through a two-year contract having made only five appearances since moving to the Parc des Princes.

More pressure for Messi at PSG

Meanwhile, angry PSG fans have made their feelings known about Lionel Messi's future with the club.

This is after a section of the club's fan base sprayed graffiti at PSG's training centre, demanding the seven-time Balloon d'Or winner leaves Parc des Princes.

PSG fans have since made it clear that they want Messi and club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi out, with the support base now targeting the training centre to make their displeasure known.

Pochettino is finding it hard to sleep

Sports Brief earlier reported that Paris Saint-Germain coach Mauricio Pochettino said on Saturday that he is finding it "hard to sleep at night" after his side's dramatic Champions League capitulation against Real Madrid, but that he wants his team to take out their "rage" on their Ligue 1 opponents.

The French giants led by two goals on aggregate in their last-16 tie with Real in midweek with less than half an hour to play.

But Karim Benzema scored a hat-trick as PSG imploded at a raucous Santiago Bernabeu, adding another embarrassing loss to their collapses at the hands of Barcelona in 2017 and Manchester United in 2019.
