Mourinho celebrates Ounahi

Earlier, Sports Brief reported on Jose Mourinho heaped praise on Ounahi, who has been a huge revelation for the Atlas Lions at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

The celebrated Portuguese manager was left in awe of the midfielder's domineering performance in the middle of the park.

Ounahi was the unsung hero in the North Africans' stunning World Cup campaign, which saw them stun Spain in the last 16 and knock Portugal out of the tournament.

Theo Hernandez breaches Morocco defence

Theo Hernandez was the first opposition player to score against Morocco at the 2022 World Cup, Sports Brief also reported.

The marauding left-back, who was key in France's campaign, scored an acrobatic strike to breach the Atlas Lions' defences.

Morocco conceded only once in five games - from an own goal by Nayef Aguerd - in what was a historic collective performance.
