He is a Nigerian footballer born on the 29th of December 1998. He was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria. He was raised by his father, Elder Patrick Osimhen, following the demise of his mother. Unfortunately, his father passed away in 2020 at 80 years of age.

Early football career
His career in football started in 2015 at the Nigerian football club Ultimate Strikers Academy. He has also played for the Nigerian Golden Eaglets, the under 17 national team, and the under 23 National Olympic Football team. A year later, he signed with the German club VfL Wolfsburg where he made appearances.
