Italian giants AC Milan have identified Nigeria’s Ademola Lookman as a possible replacement for Rafael Leao.

Lookman has already scored six goals since he arrived in Italy, having played 14 league games for Atalanta so far.

Leao is yet to pen a new contract with AC Milan even though the club’s hierarchy believes they can tie the Portuguese to a long-term deal.

Further reports have it that quite a number of clubs are also on the trail of the forward ahead of the January transfer window.

Lukaku hails Osimhen

Meanwhile, Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku has hailed Nigerian international Victor Osimhen ahead of the epic Inter Milan vs Napoli showdown.

Both sides will clash at the San Siro on Wednesday, January 4, and much is at stake for both in-form teams.

Lukaku has not been at his best for Nerazzurri, but he has lauded Nigerian star Osimhen who is in fine form for Napoli.

The 24-year-old Nigerian has already scored nine Serie A goals this season, and Lukaku believes the former Lille of France man is the best striker right now.

Nottingham Forest ready to offload Emmanuel Dennis

Sports Brief earlier reported that English Premier League club Nottingham Forest is prepared to offload Nigerian international Emmanuel Dennis who joined last summer.

The Super Eagles forward joined the Premier League returnees for an agreed fee of about £20million.

His move to Forest has not been of much impact as he only managed to start three games so far this season, scoring just one goal.
