Team captain David Calabria was at hand to symbolically receive the keys from Di Silvestre. The club's website reports that the cars were branded with players' names.

Lead striker Oliver Giroud was to receive his car, stating,

"My car keys are always with me! I am a big fan of sports cars: I like the roar of the engine, it gives me adrenalin, I can have the same feeling as when I score a goal in front of our fans. I don't go too fast, but when I can I really enjoy driving and BMW is the perfect car to get behind the wheel in a comfortable and dynamic way. I am happy to have chosen the BMW iX, which combines great performance with respect for the environment"

The Rossoneri are currently preparing to face Empoli as the Serie A action enters the 8th round. The Stefano Pioli side are currently fifth on the log with 14 points.

They will then face Chelsea in a double-header Champions League tie.

AC Milan plans to raid Chelsea for their two stars if the lose Rafael Leao

Sports Brief had earlier reported that AC Milan are planning to move in for Chelsea stars Hakim Ziyech and Christian Pulisic in the event they lose their star man Rafael Leao.

The Rossoneri are struggling to fend off potential suitors for the 23-year-old, especially after his exploits helped them to the Scudetto last season.

The Portuguese striker scored an impressive 11 goals and bagged 10 assists in the Serie A last season, raising the eyebrows of various top clubs across Europe.
