Zlatan Ibrahimovic led the celebrations as AC Milan were crowned champions of Italy for the first time in 11 years on Sunday, May 22.

A brace from Oliver Giroud and one from Frank Kessie, who coincidentally was playing in his last game for AC Milan, ensured the Rossoneri defeated Sassuolo 3-0 to emerge champions.

According to a report via Live Soccer TV, Ibrahimovic was at the centre of the jubilations in the dressing room as the Swedish striker thanked his teammates for their hard work all season.

The 40-year-old forward urged his teammates to celebrate like champions in the dressing room in a rousing speech as he said not many people gave the Milan team a chance to win their first Scudetto in eleven years.

The AC Milan team would follow Ibrahimovic’s instructions as the dressing room erupted with wild celebrations after the Swedish striker’s speech.

Meanwhile, Zlatan Ibrahimovic showed he could be emotional too as he dedicated his 2021/22 Serie A title to iconic football agent, Mino Raiola Daily Post reports.

Mino Raiola recently passed away at the age of 54 after a brief illness and was the agent to several top footballers, including Ibrahimovic.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has represented top clubs in his illustrious playing career, including Ajax, Juventus, AC Milan, Inter Milan, Paris Saint-Germain, and Manchester United.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Zlatan Ibrahimovic celebrated the 32nd trophy of his famous career when he entered the San Siro holding a cigar in one hand and a bottle of champagne in the other.

It is the club’s first league title in 11 years and the striker helped with eight goals and then also made several match-winning performances.
