  • Usain Bolt seems not to be impressed with Premier League giants Manchester United; a club he has been supporting for years
  • The Olympic great has stated that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are relying too much on Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo
  • Bolt also added that he had wanted former Chelsea manager Antonio Conte to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Old Trafford

Olympics legend Usain Bolt has disclosed that he actually wanted Antonio Conte to replace the embattled Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at the Old Trafford dugout, SunSport reports.

The former Jamaican sprinter who is a staunch fan of the Red Devils seems not to be impressed with the recent developments at the Theatre of Dreams.

Manchester United have managed just one win in their last six matches as they lost four of them, including an embarrassing 5-0 home loss in the hands of Liverpool.

But summer-signing Cristiano Ronaldo has managed to save the side on a couple of occasions having found the back of the net nine times in twelve matches.

All eyes will be on the Portuguese veteran when he leads the line for United at Watford on Saturday, but Bolt believes they too much rely on the 36-year-old:

He told The Nationali:

“Cristiano has saved us in every game. One guy has to do all the work. We have not played good football in so long.
“I wanted Conte. He’s going to do so well at Spurs, he is going to get them organised.
“Everywhere he goes, he structures the team so well. In January, he is probably going to get one or two players.
“Then at the end of the season, he is probably going to find proper players and bring them in.”

Xavi wants Liverpool’s Mo Salah at Barcelona

Briefly News earlier reported that following his appointment as manager of Spanish club Barcelona, Xavi Hernandez is already preparing for team rebuild at Camp Nou.

Reports have it that the former Barca midfielder is desperate in matching La Liga rivals Real Madrid who are already closing in on Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe.

Xavi wants Liverpool star Mohamed Salah at all cost and will do everything to land the Egyptian superstar to the Catalan club.
