  • Manchester United chiefs are not ready to sell the Frenchman in January next year and will prefer to lose him for free
  • Spanish side Real Madrid and French giants Paris Saint-Germain are said to be interested in Paul Pogba's signature

Manchester United chiefs have reportedly concluded that they would allow France international Paul Pogba to leave for free next summer and will not sell him in the January transfer window.

The former Juventus star has been linked with an Old Trafford exit more than ever since his return in recent months.

However, Old Trafford landlords will reportedly not look to recoup their transfer fee for him and will instead let him depart at the end of the campaign for nothing if he so chooses.

Pogba has been impressive for Manchester United this season in the Premier League, but his red card against Liverpool in United's last Premier League outing summed up his and his side's form in recent weeks.

According to the report on Telegraph and GOAL, Manchester United chiefs don't want to sell Paul Pogba this summer because they feel the Frenchman is still needed.

Spanish giants Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are said to be monitoring Paul Pogba with the target of them signing the World Cup winner.

“Fake news”

Earlier in the week, Pogba addressed claims he is waiting on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to be sacked in order to sign a new deal.

British news outlet The Sun had reported that Pogba apologised to teammates, but completely ignored Solskjaer and had put talks of a new contract on hold.

Barely 24 hours after the explosive report, Pogba set the record straight, labelling the report as “fake news” and “a big lie to make headlines”
