Solskjaer has been a man under siege in recent weeks after leading United to a string of poor performances that saw them drop out of the top four.

Last weekend's 5-0 defeat in the hands of Liverpool at Old Trafford left the Norwegian under growing pressure to quit.

But even as he faced an uncertain future, Ole still managed to his charges to a thrilling win at Tottenham on Saturday, October 30.

Goals from Cristiano Ronaldo, Edinson Cavani and Marcus Rashford handed United a crucial victory to ease pressure on their manager.

Ole on the receiving end

However, a section of fans who turned up to cheer the team in north London were still not contented with the win as they shouted down Solskjaer as he had his post-match interview with MUTV.

Metro UK reports the tactician saw the funny side of the abuse and brilliantly shut down an unwanted heckler.

"Can I do this interview and then you can abuse me after, eh?!’ Solskjaer fired back with a smile on his face.

Speaking on United's recent form, Ole admitted "it has been a difficult week" but insisted he is doing everything within his means to turn around his side's fortunes.
