- Match week 13 had some exciting results as Chelsea dropped points vs Man United at Stamford Bridge
- The draw saw the Blues fail to consolidate their four-point advantage on the summit of the standings
- Despite Liverpool leapfrogging Man City to second-place, Pep Guardiola's men managed to regain the spot after stunning West Ham
- Newcastle, meanwhile, remain the only side yet to taste victory in the English topflight after 13 rounds of matches
Chelsea remain top of the Premier League standings after match week 13 despite being held to a 1-1 draw by Man United at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues were unable to take advantage of United's poor run of form in the EPL to regain their four-point lead on the summit of the log.
The west Londoners had to rely on Jorginho to rescue a crucial point against the Red Devils, with the Italian converting from the spot to cancel out Jadon Sancho's 50th-minute opener.
The result now leaves Thomas Tuchel's men in first place with 30 points, just one ahead of Man City who stunned West Ham 2-1 on Sunday, November 28.
Liverpool sit third on the log with 28 points after seeing off Southampton, with West Ham completing the top four podium.
Arsenal, who have enjoyed a stunning resurgence in recent weeks are fifth with 23 points following their vital 2-0 win over struggling Newcastle.
Man United's draw at Stamford Bridge saw them climb a place up to eighth with 18 points, one behind Tottenham Hotspur whose own fixture against Burnley was postponed.
Burnley, Norwich City and Newcastle are all rocked in the relegation zone, with the Magpies the only side yet to taste victory thus far.
Cristiano Ronaldo dropped
Earlier, TUKO.co.ke reported Man United caretaker boss Michael Carrick made some surprising changes to his team during the Red Devils' trip to Stamford Bridge.
Cristiano Ronaldo was among the players who started from the bench as Man United forced Chelsea to a 1-1 draw.
But when asked about the move, Carrick explained he decided to drop Ronaldo to "freshen things up."
