Rojo last featured for the Red Devils in November 2019 but has failed to make an appearance under Solskajer.

He made his debut for United in the 4-0 Premier League victory over Queens Park Rangers after arriving from Sporting Lisbon in 2014.

Rojo made 122 appearances for the former English champions winning the FA Cup and EFL Cup triumphs at Wembley in 2016 and 2017 respectively.

He also won the Community Shield and Europa League during Jose Mourinho's spell with the club but missed the final against Ajax despite playing a huge part to the team's route to the finals.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Marcos Rojo who currently plays for Manchester United has reportedly agreed to a two-year deal with Boca Juniors after being frozen out of the Red Devils' first squad under Ole Solskjaer.

The Argentine footballer has not been having it rosy since Ole Solskjaer became the coach of Manchester United and he is now on the verge of heading back to his country.

Rojo spent the second half of last season on loan with boyhood club Estudiantes after his failure to get active playing time at Old Trafford.

Legit.ng also reported that Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo has explained how he made Zlatan Ibrahimovic angry by calling him 'big nose' when he was playing for Manchester United.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic helped Jose Mourinho at Manchester United winning the Europa League title and also the League Cup before he left.

Marcos Rojo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic were teammates at Old Trafford from 2016 to 2018 when the former Barcelona striker left Old Trafford.

The Argentine explained that Zlatan Ibrahimovic was angry with him not giving him a pass when Manchester United were facing an opponent at home.
