- Paul Pogba has been linked with a move away from EPL side Manchester United
- The club's legend Teddy Sheringham stated that the Red Devils should sell him
- Real Madrid and Juventus are the two clubs interested in buying Paul Pogba
Teddy Sheringham who won treble at Manchester United has urged the club's chiefs to offload France international Paul Pogba when the 2021 January transfer window opens.
This comes after the Frenchman's agent Mino Raiola claimed that his client is unhappy at Old Trafford and wants to leave after being linked with Real Madrid and return to Juventus..
Despite being linked with a move away from Manchester United, Paul Pogba was involved in the Red Devils' Champions League defeat against Leipzig as the club crashed out.
Even before Mino Raiola gave the interview, it had long been suspected that Paul Pogba was disgruntled at Old Trafford and pushing for a move away.
According to the report on UK Mirror, Teddy Sheringham explained that it is better for his former club to sell Pogba next year and forget everything about him.
"Pogba could do without his agent making these comments, he seems to pop up and put spanners in the works every time.
"It’s not great, every three to four months this seems to happen with comments from his agent or Pogba himself.
"It’s constant from the player and the agent to the extent where overall I think they should let him leave."
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Manchester United’s midfield sensation Bruno Fernandes bagged the Premier League player for the month of November award following his four goals during the month.
The Portuguese midfielder who joined the Red Devils on the January transfer deadline day, found the back of the net four times and also got an assist during the period.
Fernandes has now won the prestigious award three times in ten months having also claimed it in February and June.
He scored United’s only goal in their 1-0 win over West Bromwich Albion on November 21 and capped it with another fine goal in their 3-2 win over Southampton eight days later.
The victory over the Saints saw United return to the top half of the Premier League table as they now occupy sixth position on the standings.
