The Red Devils' attacker who has scored 14 goals and bagged seven assists in 25 appearances across competitions so far this campaign is valued at a staggering £150 million.

His stock rose following his contributions in terms of goals for the Old Trafford side as they are currently joint top table toppers with Liverpool on the Premier League table.

This latest review means that Rashford has taken over from Paris Saint Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe whose value has dropped to £135 million to sit fifth on the chart.

Borussia Dortmund's Erling Haaland (£137.3m), Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool) £137.1m and Man United's Bruno Fernandes (£137m) all come before the World Cup winner on the chart.

Daily Mail reports that the CIES survey x-rays recent players' performances as well as their age, contract situation, and career progression plus their club's wealth and success.

The publication added the England international's value has soared due to the 14 goals and seven assists he has contributed to United's success so far while they are considered Premier League title contenders for the first time in a while.

Rashford has a deal with his present club until the summer of 2023 with an option for a further year, while Mbappe's value drops is due to the fact that he is yet to sign an extension with his club despite having a similar goals record with the United star.

Below are the top 10 most valuable players in 2021:

1. Marcus Rashford (Man United) £149.8m
