Premier League match-week 28 had some interesting results with a number of teams recording incredible results as others faltered.

Despite suffering a shock 2-0 defeat to rivals Man United, City remain top on the standings with 65 points and have an 11-point cushion over the Red Devils.

Leicester City are third on the log with 53 points following their 2-1 win over Brighton in their own fixture, while Chelsea complete the top four slots.

With just four points separating Chelsea in fourth and eighth-placed Liverpool, the Blues will be desperate to cart home all the three points when they take on Everton on Monday night, March 8, in their own fixture.

A win over the Toffees will see the Blues cement their place in the top four as they look to seal a Champions League place.

However, they will be wary of the Merseyside outfit who sit fifth with 46 points, just a point behind them.

Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United are all also in the frame to book a place in the European elite competition.

Spurs demolished rivals Crystal Palace 4-1 to restate their intent to play in the UCL, with the win helping them climb up the ladder to sixth.

Liverpool's shock 1-0 defeat to Fulham saw them drop to eighth and are now in danger of missing out on European football.

Arsenal's 1-1 draw with Burnley on Saturday, March 6, has them languishing in 10th with 38 points from 27 matches.

In the relegation battle, Fulham look like the likeliest side to survive the drop, with the Scot Parker-tutored side now on level on points with Brighton who are a place above safety.

West Bromwich Albion and Sheffield United are all rocked in the bottom after failing to register good results at the weekend.
