Gnonto 'trolls' Rashford
The Italian forward went on to copy Rashford's iconic celebration to mark his goal for Leeds by pointing with his index finger to his temple.
The Sun reports that Gnonto's move to replicate Rashford's 'cele' had fans thinking it was a direct dig at the Manchester United ace.
"No way Gnonto did the Rashford cele after dunking on United."
Another pointed out:
"Marcus Rashford 0, Wilfried Gnonto 1. Lovely score."
A third said:
"Streets say Gnonto did the Rashford celebration lol no one respects him."
Man United stages comeback
Gnonto's moment of glory did not last long as Man United staged a stunning comeback to draw.
Leeds had doubled their advantage shortly after the break courtesy of Raphael Varane's own goal, before Rashford pulled one back in the 62nd minute.
Jadon Sancho went on to draw United level 10 minutes later after he came off the bench as a substitute.
Was Saka mocking Rashford?
Sports Brief has also reported that fans were sharply divided on an Arsenal star's choice of celebration after scoring a stunner against Man United.
Bukayo Saka scored the second goal to give the Gunners the lead, after Nketiah had cancelled out Rashford's beautiful opener.
The 21-year-old was allowed to weave his way to the edge of the penalty area, before unleashing a ferocious shot which flew past a scampering David de Gea.
Saka then dashed towards the corner flag and pointed to his temple, in similar fashion to the style of celebration Rashford has adopted since the World Cup break.
