"I think the importance to their teams...you could argue both sides quite equally. But then, when you through the stats in Casemiro wipes him away," he said on his Vibes With Five Podcast as quoted by Daily Mail.
"No, no no. I don't think Partey is good enough defensively to do what Casemiro is doing," he added.
"I don't think he has the impact defensively for Man United, on the ball he's doing more."

Meanwhile, Ferdinand insists Partey's passing ability and range is his main strength.

"On the ball, he's doing more. He's dictating play, man for Arsenal," said Ferdinand.
"He's actually playing passes I didn't know he had. His passing has been unbelievable."

Both players will square up on Sunday in the English Premier League when Manchester United travel to the Emirates to face the league leaders.

Arsenal have only lost to Manchester United this season in the English topflight league. It was a game Partey missed due to injury.

Partey has scored two goals in 15 matches in the English Premier League this season.

Partey sets social media ablaze

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Arsenal fans can't get enough of Thomas Partey after the Ghanaian midfielder bossed the game against Tottenham Hotspurs in the North London derby.

The Gunners strolled to a 2-0 victory against Spurs, courtesy of an own goal from Hugo Lloris and a strike from Martin Odergaard.

Partey lasted the entire duration and was solid in midfield as Spurs lost their spark in the middle of the park.
